Joe All Alone

Joe has to manage on his own for another few days, without money or food. Meanwhile, his teacher becomes suspicious, but Joe keeps his secret to himself. To make matters worse, he is also being blackmailed by mobber Perry and threatened further and further by the stranger. But Asha won't let Joe down. "Joe All Alone" is based on the stories by English children's and young adult author Joanna Nadin. The real-life series, nominated this year for one of the coveted "International Emmy® Kids Awards," movingly portrays Joe's emotional world between inner despair, hope and a good dose of gallows humor. Joe's narration from the first-person perspective as well as helpful supporting characters manage to take away the material's original heaviness. "Joe all alone" is a production of the British children's television station CBBC in cooperation with Zodiak Kids Studio.
