Balmy summer nights, the tingling coolness of a swimming pool - within such stirring atmospheres, a dense drama develops around friendship and awakening sexuality. Fifteen-year-old Marie has fallen under the spell of synchronized swimming and the graceful body control it requires - or is it rather the gorgeous star of the group, the beautiful Floriane? She is regarded as a 'femme fatal' among the youths - Floriane can wrap any boy around her sweet finger. So, it seems surprising at first that she agrees to a barter deal with the inconspicuous Marie. Third in the alliance of love-thirsty teenagers in the seemingly timeless suburban milieu is Marie's best friend Anne, a bit too chubby and yet so desperately in search of her first time.
